Planning a wedding takes a lot of time, energy, and foresight. For those able to hire a coordinator to help you do it all, kudos to you. For those of you who do not have the means to, know that it will all come together. Your day will be everything you want it to be, and more! For every bride, groom, and parents of, please keep one thing in mind… the dance!
You read correctly. Though everyone expects to pay thousands of dollars for the perfect venue, the perfect ring, the perfect photographer, the perfect band or DJ, and the perfect dress and flowers, everyone always seems to overlook the dancing. With the wonderful age of technology, the Internet, and the ability to capture anything and everything and instantly share it across the world, it pains me to think of how the first dance is forgotten.
Please know that investing in your dancing is just as important as investing in your dress. Not only is everyone going to see it, but you want it be everything you could possibly imagine and more. You may not have any opportunities to reuse your wedding dress in your future, but you will absolutely have opportunities to dance with your soon to be spouse for many years to come.
Keep in mind that the first dance is named as such because it should be the first of many!
